Heilebär was founded in 1999 in Mainz, Germany, by R. Rein, and has been carried forward by his eldest son, J. Rein, under a simple, consistent mission: German research, shared worldwide. In more than twenty-five years, we have never made anything except nutrition for children. Today, the brand's work is focused entirely on liquid calcium and lutein formulas, each developed for a specific stage of childhood rather than adapted from a general, all-ages recipe.
Our Approach
Precise to the Age, Precise to the Formula
A child's needs don't change simply because they have a birthday — they change because their life changes. Home becomes school, and sleep, meals, activity and screen time all shift with it. So instead of making one product and adjusting the dose, we formulate separately for ages 1–6 and 6–18, and publish both ingredient lists so you can see the difference. Heilebär's approach is described internally as 精龄 + 精配 — age-precise, formula-precise nutrition. In practice, this means two things. First, every product line is split into two age tiers, rather than a single formula marketed for children as one undifferentiated group. Second, every formula is built from clearly labelled ingredient groups — never a single unnamed blend — so a parent can see exactly what each part of a formula is for, and at what amount. This philosophy shapes every product Heilebär makes, from the calcium formulas to the lutein formulas, across both age tiers of each.
